The Hospice has opened a new Superstore on the Clifton Triangle and we're looking for people to join the volunteer team. It's a great way to meet new people, be environmentally conscious and engage with your local community.

It's a brand-new concept store and the first of its kind for the Hospice. Two thirds of the stock is furniture, both second-hand and new. Shoppers will also find electricals and homeware, and the usual blend of preloved clothing, vintage treasures, and accessories that the Hospice is known for.
The new Superstore is be located in the old Bathstore building on the Clifton Triangle opposite QEH school.
Our Superstore volunteers get involved in a wider variety of roles than our usual shops. We'd love your help with some or all the following:
We welcome any amount of time you can give us. Some volunteers work a couple of hours a week, others might come in for 2 or 3 days. We can work with you on what time you can spare and fit volunteering around your existing commitments.
You'll be able to gain useful experience and transferable skills in retail and customer service. This looks great on CVs and UCAS forms.
We provide full training and support is always available. We pride ourselves on looking after our volunteers.
Volunteering is good for you. Evidence shows it's great for your mental and physical health! You'll make friends and meet lots of new people, gain confidence and self-esteem. You'll also be contributing to the 'circular economy', cutting down on landfill and encouraging Bristol to recycle.
Some of our volunteers have gained employment as a paid member of staff within our charity shops or with another employer because of the experience they've gained.
We want everyone to get the care they deserve, which is why we're aiming to double the number of people we support by 2030.
To achieve this, we're delighted to introduce you to our updated look. Research carried out last year revealed there were many barriers to people accessing our support. Our modernised look helps breaks down misconceptions about St Peter's, which will help us connect with more of our local communities.
